What it is
The KICKR is Wahoo’s top wheel-off trainer and the reference point most other smart trainers are measured against. Its flywheel and motor simulate gradients up to 20%, measure power within ±1% and respond to structured workouts, virtual shifting and in-app terrain over Wi-Fi, ANT+ and Bluetooth.
What to know
You remove your rear wheel and mount the bike on the included cassette, so it suits one-bike households best once set up. It is one of the heavier trainers around — solid under sprinting, but not something you want to carry up stairs often.
