What it is
The CORE 2 takes the KICKR’s direct-drive layout down to a smaller flywheel and price. The second generation adds Wi-Fi connectivity and is also sold with Zwift’s Cog and Click for virtual shifting on Zwift.
What to know
No cassette ships with the base version — budget for one, or choose the Zwift Cog edition if you mostly ride Zwift and want to swap between bikes quickly. The 16% gradient ceiling is fine for structured training but lower than flagship trainers.
