What it is
The NEO 3M is Garmin’s top-end trainer with integrated motion plates that let the whole unit rock slightly fore-aft and side-to-side. Its virtual flywheel simulates gradients to 25%, descents, and road surfaces like gravel and cobbles.
What to know
The 11-speed cassette comes pre-installed, so setup is fast if your bike is Shimano/SRAM 11-speed; other drivetrains need a different cassette or freehub body. Wi-Fi and Ethernet need the optional Tacx smart network adapter — out of the box it connects over ANT+ and Bluetooth.
